Happy Friday! I hope you all had a wonderful week! I know a lot of us are still adjusting to the back to school schedule, doing homework, packing lunches and dreading the daily car-loop line. My baby isn't old enough for school yet, so we enrolled him in Gymboree School Skills 1-hour Drop-Off Class. His first day was Monday and he did so good! Tears were definitely shed, but not from him (That's right, this mama was crying over a 1-hour drop-off class 😂) He learned about the letter V, practiced tracing it, and made a volcano! This class is the perfect introduction into school and being independent from a parent. I highly recommend you check it out for your pre-schooler! This Macaroni Mama has been busy busy busy this week preparing for Macaroni Kid and Space Coast Mom Life's Back to School Glow Bash happening TONIGHT (8/23/19) from 5pm-8pm at Arts for All Studio! We are celebrating being back in school with a family friendly party for all ages! Join us for a night of glow sticks, dancing, pizza and fun! $5 admission gets you into the party, a slice of pizza, drink and a snow cone! RSVP HERE.

Marvel's 80th Anniversary Party

Come to Kingdom of Comics to celebrate Marvel's 80th Anniversary! There will be a Marvel costume contest at 1pm (only Marvel costumes will be judged). There will be prizes for the winner and then we'll have cake!
KidX Event Oceans & Sea Turtles
Melbourne Square Mall, 12pm-2pm
Melbourne Square is excited to partner with Brevard County Parks & Recreation Department for our KidX Oceans and Sea Turtles event. You will learn about our oceans and the 3 types that nest here. Play games like the “Turtle Hurdles” and we will have coloring pages for the little ones.

Sea Turtle Nest Excavation Dig
Coconut Point Park, 7:30am-8am
Public Hatch Success Evaluations allow the public to witness a loggerhead sea turtle nest being excavated. This is an important research tool in determining hatch out success rates of nests on the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge. We'll teach you about our local sea turtle species as we excavate the nest, give you the opportunity to touch eggshell remnants and unhatched eggs, and if any hatchlings are found remaining in the nest you'll witness them being released into the ocean if they are healthy enough to do so.
Guided Barrier Island Sanctuary Hike
Brevard County Barrier Island Sanctuary, 9am-10:30am
Join Master Naturalist Cynthia Maguire for a one-mile journey from dune to lagoon. Bring water, sunscreen and insect repellant as needed. Closed toed shoes recommended. Meet at the Welcome Desk.
