Mother's Day is approaching quickly (May 12th), and you're trying to figure out the perfect gift to show the mothers in your life the appreciation they deserve. I'm here to help!
Even though many moms say they don't want anything for Mother's Day, speaking as a mom myself, this list is compiled of things I think moms will ACTUALLY want.
Send this article to someone who might need some help with Mother's Day shopping, or just go ahead and gift yourself something! After all... anything purchased for yourself in May counts as a Mother's Day gift.

1. A Clean Car
Honestly, I can't think of a gift much better than someone else cleaning out my car full of crushed goldfish and glitter.
2. Help With the Never-Ending Laundry Pile
Talk to any mom and I guarantee one of her biggest chores is laundry. Washed, dried, and folded laundry? That's what dreams are made of.
3. Updated Family Photos
Moms are notoriously behind the lens instead of in the photograph. Make sure mom is in some (recent) photos, and give her a gift that will truly last a lifetime: a family photo session.
4. A Little Retail Therapy
Instead of trying to guess what she wants, let her enjoy picking out what she truly wants. Plus, half the fun is in wandering around a cute store in peace!
5. A Day of Pampering
A day of self-care can do wonders! Mom will not be disappointed with an appointment (or two) for a massage, pedicure, hair treatment, or facial!
6. A Night (or Day) Off
While moms love spending time with their families, we could use a little "me time". Whether it's time to do a favorite hobby, a night out on the town, or an outdoor adventure, give mom some time away from her household responsibilities. Check out our Creative Date Ideas Guide for local ideas (there are ideas you can do with friends or solo too)!
7. A Great Meal (and No Dishes to Clean!)
A delicious meal that I don't have to cook or clean up from? Sign me up! If you'd like to go out to eat, I've gathered the best brunch spots and specials for Mother's Day - see the list here.
8. Sentimental Jewelry
Make an appointment to get permanent jewelry done with a daughter or mom friend, or get a personalized piece made just for her.
9. A Clean House & A Completed To-Do List
Whether you hire someone to help check off the to-do list or gather the kids to make it happen, believe me when I say that moms will appreciate a clean house and completed projects!
10. Quality Time Together
