Cross Bridge Church is hosting a Grand Opening event for their community park and student center on Saturday, September 9th from 10 am to 2 pm, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 12pm. During the event, there will be live music, games, activities, ax throwing (for the adults), and door prizes. Cross Bridge will be serving free hot dogs, chips, and water for the entire event. In addition, Andie's Kitchen and Catering, Hamster-Time Sno-Cones, and Strong Island Ice Cream food trucks will be serving up local treats for purchase. There will be several local organizations committed to serving the community in difficult seasons, equipping families with the resources they need.
This park was built for the community and is intended to give families a fun, safe place to play even on the hottest summer days! The park is shaded and fenced in and features several giant slides, swings, rope obstacles, and more. With two play areas for different age ranges, there's something for everyone. The Barbara Murphy Student Center is a multipurpose building made with our students in mind, giving them a space to connect and belong.
