You’re never completely prepared for how your life will change once you become a mother, and sometimes life throws you even more curveballs than you expected. Since having my first child in January of this year, I began to crave three things: energy, interaction, and confidence. And much to my surprise, I found all three of these with Fit4Mom Space Coast.

I first joined Fit4Mom in June when I was finally fed up with sitting in the house all day with my baby, feeling tired and sorry for myself. I wasn’t happy with the way I looked or the way I felt each day. Completely nervous about meeting other moms or how I would handle exercising postpartum, I broke out my sneakers and the jogging stroller and went to my first Stroller Strides class.
To say the class was easy for me would be a lie - but I loved it! Through the sweat and heavy breathing, I immediately felt the change I was searching for. Not only was I out of the house and interacting with other moms, but I was working on bettering myself - and that made me feel great.

It’s only been three months since I joined Fit4Mom Space Coast, and I’m already incredibly healthier and happier than I was previously on my postpartum journey. Not only have I physically seen results like weight loss, more stamina, and toned muscles, but I’ve noticed I’m in a better mood on the days I get to work out, with more motivation to be productive.

Being apart of the Fit4Mom Space Coast Village is just another great benefit of joining this group. Moms Night Out, pool parties, and fun family days are a cherry on top!

I think it’s great that Fit4Mom Space Coast classes are offered all over the county, six days a week, both mornings and evenings. This gives so many mothers in Brevard County the opportunity to work on making themselves healthier and happier, too.
