Happy "today" everyone!!!
Well, we are on the final countdown my people. Christmas is just a few days away and I'm pretty sure I am more excited than my two precious girls. I hope you all feel the same! We keep things simple, and it's absolutely beautiful.
Well, this week I have HUGE news! We have an Assistant Publisher and I am beyond myself. This wonderful woman has been running a group for moms in our community on Facebook out of the love in her heart to connect with us. I thought she would be a perfect fit for the Macaroni Kid family! So please take the time to read her welcome note below. I am sure you will fall in love with her, just like I did! Here you go:

Hello Macaroni family! My name is Amanda and I am your new Assistant Publisher for Macaroni Kid Melbourne and Beaches! My husband and I moved to Melbourne five years ago from Philadelphia, PA. Moving to a “small town” like Melbourne from such a big city was a huge transition for me. Eventually, I fell in love with the slower pace of life here, the lack of traffic, the sunshine, the beaches and most of all the community.
I am currently a stay-at-home mom to a crazy almost two year old, named Levi. Most days you can find me in my leggings with a messy bun, coffee in hand, running late from playdate to Target with my screaming toddler in tow. I am THAT mom. Before having my son, I was a social worker, I ran a small baking business, I did yoga and I even managed to shower daily! These days going to the bathroom without a toddler at my feet feels like a small victory! Oh my how times have changed, but mom life truly is the best life.
If you know me, you know I am always out and about. After having Levi I joined every mom group, signed up for every mommy and me class, storytime, parades, parks-you name it and we have likely done it. I made so many mom friends and I learned that there are so many great things to do in Brevard County! I know it's not as easy for some moms to make friends and keep up with every activity and event, so I started a facebook group called Space Coast Mom Life to help moms in our area connect with other moms and see what our amazing community has to offer. I am so excited to now have the opportunity to serve the community of South Brevard in a different way as a part of the Macaroni Kid team!
